IGT043 Consolidation and alignment of invoicing data

The Modification was raised by British Gas on the 7th December 2011.

The Draft Final Modification Report for IGT043VV was considered at the May 2012 Modification Panel.

This follows two Variations to the original Modification Proposal. Changes made include:

• Amendment to Word document – pg 3 of 5.  Date format changed from “Excel” to “Microsoft”
• The IGT UNC Appendix G-1 stipulates the date format as “DDMMYYYY”.  As backing data is issued in Excel  Microsoft format the proposal asserts that the IGTs issue the data in the format DD/MM/YYYY.   
• Amendments to Backing data completion rules.  
• Field # 1 – Charge type E.g. B12
  • Field format amended from “N” (number) to “T” (text)
• Field # 2 – CSEPs Number
  • Field format amended from “N” (number) to “T” (text)
  • Field Length extended from 10 to 15 character length
• Field # 10 – EUC (End User Category)
  • Field format amended from “N” (number) to “T” (text)
• Field Length extended from 10 to 12 character length

The specific changes to the Invoice Backing Data completion rules have been highlighted within the spreadsheet to assist. The panel specifically asked for confirmation from parties that the revised data items were accurate and complete.

The Final Modification Report was sent to Ofgem on the 23rd May 2012, with The Authority providing implementation approval on 29th June 2012.

In April a number of amendments were made to the documents in order to accommodate smart metering changes – the updated documents can be found below.

This Modification was implemented on 28th June 2013.
